Senior HR Consultant
Wendy is a highly skilled and commercial HR consultant with extensive experience partnering with senior leadership teams at operational and strategic level in multi-site FMCG, global and on-line start-up businesses. A highly respected HRD in Tesco PLC, she managed multiple HR teams to design and implement people strategies to deliver business results.
Wendy led the Group Resourcing strategy partnering with the Executive Board where she owned the Capability Resource Pool to deliver key business projects. Significantly, Wendy also established the infrastructure, Values, OD and people policies to enable the leadership team to build the UK’s leading grocery home shopping site. Integral to this she was responsible for scaling this start up business, resourcing and developing a new operational team from 20 to 160 people.
With a solution focused pragmatic approach, she brings expertise in gaining employee engagement at all levels, with a flair for establishing trust and buy-in. She has specialist expertise which includes Talent, Performance Management, Resourcing, L&D, Leadership Coaching, HR policies, OD and Employee Relations.
