Jonathan Phillips


Jonathan has worked extensively over the last twenty years as a Facilitator, Coach, Actor and Writer. His corporate experience ranges from bespoke practice sessions with senior executives at major financial institutions to facilitating forum theatres with engineers at nuclear power stations and everything in between. He is a big believer in affording people the opportunity to practise their skills and experience different communication methods in a safe but challenging environment, utilising feedback, influencing, negotiation and coaching models to assist their learning.

His areas of expertise include: Influencing Skills, Performance Management, Coaching, Assertiveness, Interview Skills, Leadership Development, Appraisal Skills, Personal Impact and Challenging Conversations. As well as facilitating workshops Jonathon is often involved in the creation of the practical elements of programme design and the writing of the interactive briefs and scripts.

Recent work has included facilitating a series of Managing Remotely workshops with a city law firm, facilitating a Global programme with a Leading Sportswear company across 12 countries in three months, facilitating a series of coaching workshops with UK Sport across such Olympic disciplines as Sailing, Judo, Tennis, Swimming and Table Tennis and working on a series of Influencing workshops for Salesforce in Hyderabad. Other recent work includes an ongoing Diversity and Inclusion program for a Global Energy Provider, and a series of Influencing workshops for Clyde & Co in London and Chicago.

Jonathon has also worked with a number of Business schools including, Said Business School and Warwick Business School. Other recent clients include: Vodafone, Astra Zeneca, Nationwide, Barclays, HSBC, BG Group, Environment Agency, Network Rail, Park Plaza Hotels, Skanska, Slaughter & May.
